KeyPlay Financial Services is a locally owned business based in Ballarat in Victoria.

We specialise in the areas of Pre and Post Retirement, Centrelink (which can be a maze), Aged Care, divorce or separation, and Superannuation/Investment/Insurance matters (all which can be confusing and difficult to understand).
At KeyPlay we view the Retirement, Centrelink and Aged Care sectors as the crucial areas facing Australians in this early part of the 21stCentury and importantly we have BOTH the experience and the qualifications to help clients.
We also help businesses by working with them to provide advice to their older employees around possible options including transition to retirement and Centrelink payments and concessions.
Our business is a long established one and is supported by the vast resources of Hillross Financial Services and the AMP. Hillross ensures our conduct, systems, technical knowledge and advice are accurate, up to date and compliant, which, especially these days, is important for our clients to know.
Tony has been a Financial Planner since 1991 and has worked in the banking and financial services industries since commencing his working life in 1981. He is an Authorised Representative of Hillross Financial Services Limited and has been licensed with Hillross since 2003. He specialises in helping people with retirement, Centrelink, Aged Care and superannuation matters.

Centrelink & Retirement Specialist
Lindsay joined KeyPlay in January 2008 after a distinguished 37 year career with Centrelink. In that time he has helped many people across Ballarat and the surrounding districts and in his last 10 years with Centrelink, Lindsay was the Financial Information Service Officer for the Ballarat region.
Lindsay specialises in the Centrelink , Aged Care and retirement areas and his knowledge of the Centrelink system has been instrumental in helping many KeyPlay clients to achieve results that they were not even aware of. He also has an ongoing role in providing advice to mature age workers on Centrelink matters throughout the state and this has seen Lindsay speaking to employee groups from Ballarat to Mildura to Melbourne and to Loy Yang in Gippsland.
Lindsay holds a Diploma of Financial Planning from Traineeship Management Australia (TMA) which he gained in 2012. In addition Lindsay completed many competency and management assignments within Centrelink and combined with his personal involvement in the Aged Care and retirement fields, he has accumulated a valuable knowledge base to share with the clients of KeyPlay.
Lindsay believes that you “don’t know what you don’t know” and he sees it as his goal to ensure that our KeyPlay clients “do know” what they are entitled to and importantly the best way to achieve and maximise those entitlements.
Rob has an extensive career helping clients having commenced working in the ANZ Bank in the 1970’s. He has spent his time since then working in the banking and financial services areas and helping clients across the state of Victoria.
Rob holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) which were both completed via Tribeca Training College in 2006. Before joining KeyPlay Rob previously worked as a Financial Planner at RACV Financial Services in Ballarat and later at the CBA Financial Planning (after the CBA purchased the original RACV Financial Services business).
Rob is a well known and highly regarded local Ballarat professional and his years of work in the banking and financial planning arenas make him a prominent face in our local district. Rob’s success in financial planning has been achieved via hard work and care for those he helps – which is what our business stands for. Therefore Rob will be a good fit to the KeyPlay team.
Rob commenced with KeyPlay in December 2016 and looks forward to helping both existing and new clients going forward.
Laura joined KeyPlay in May 2016 after 7 years with IBM based at the Ballarat Technology Park.
She is an enthusiastic and responsible self starter and will likely be the first person you speak to when you contact KeyPlay.
Laura helps clients with general queries and will support Tony, Rob and Lindsay with the preparation of reports and statements. She is also adept with the Centrelink online system and helps to keep our clients’ records up to date with them, which is most important.
In her spare time, Laura is an accredited AFL Goldfields Trainer with North Ballarat City Senior Football Club.
Wendy commenced with KeyPlay in May 2012 after working in a client services role with a local accounting firm.
She is a valuable member of the KeyPlay office team and has increased her responsibilities markedly since joining us.
Wendy is responsible for the preparation of Review Reports for our clients and also ensures that relevant research information is kept up to date and current.
